This is a Pie/Doughnut Chart Formative Assessment Mastery Tracker with drop down menu options, very similar to my Standards Based Mastery Tracker. However, this tracker really focuses on tracking and monitoring student progress on formative assessments for each lesson. This tracker can be used to assess skills aligned to the learning target derived from the content standard. This tracker can be used for ANY subject and ANY grade. Like so many of my other trackers, it is very visual and it saves you so much time especially if you are using a mobile device like an iPad or Surface as you are tracking students! You can see both class and student progress towards mastery at a snapshot! It is also very easy to use.
I have done all of the hard parts for you--all of the formulas, coding and formatting is completed and nothing you need to worry about. Just enter in your data using the dropdown menus, and watch the cells change colors and the pie/doughnut graphs will calculate immediately! This new tracker also includes the checkboxes to automatically check and the number of students who have reached mastery also automatically populate. I am excited for the ways this tracker will gather data. It is a game changer! I highly recommend that you use this product with an iPad or Surface to get the full effect of the simplicity, quickness and efficiency it provides.
Please note, this tracker must be used on Google Sheets. Please make sure you have a Google Drive Account. If you have a gmail account, then you have access to Google Drive! Please note, if you try to use the spreadsheet outside of Google Sheets for example, on Microsoft Excel, the formatted cells will not be displayed or function correctly. You may also lose the coding and formulas to put the spreadsheet together.
All of the directions for how to use this tracker are in the spreadsheet on the first tab. When you download this file, you will notice three tabs. The first one is a page full of directions. Read them carefully. There are rows and columns on the Google sheet that you must not touch. Those rows calculate your data for you. The rest of the directions will help you understand how to set up your own tracker. It is a very quick process. The second tab shows you an example of my own tracker for a Unit.a. The third tab is a blank tracker that is already formatted and ready to go! MAKE A COPY of the Mastery Copy first! Then, all you need to do is start tracking and entering in data! This tracker has taken a long time to create!
