I shared a limited time free modified version of this tracker during my Drop 006 in my Facebook Group, Paper to Pixels. I am finally sharing it here in my shop!
This spreadsheet was created to help you easily monitor, organize, and ensure coverage of academic standards, making instruction more intentional and aligned throughout the year. It includes:
Built-in automations — instantly count:
- Standards in progress
- Standards mastered
- Standards that need to be revisited or are not yet taught
Start and end date area — ideal for unit planning and pacing, helping you track when each standard is introduced and completed
Filterable headers that make sorting and analyzing data fast and effortless
"Review Required" indicator — select “Yes” from a dropdown and the cell is automatically highlighted to flag standards needing reteaching or reinforcement
Notes column included — add context, instructional strategies, or reminders for each standard
At-a-glance visibility — quickly identify where your instruction is focused and where adjustments are needed
Supports intentional planning — ensures instruction is standards-based, consistent, and aligned all year long
Organized by unit, domain, or subject — flexible dropdowns allow for easy tracking
♻️ Reusable year after year — simply duplicate the master copy and reuse each year
Please note, this tracker must be used in Google Sheets. Please make sure you have a Google Drive Account. If you have a gmail account, then you have access to Google Drive! Please note, if you try to use the spreadsheet outside of Google Sheets for example, on Microsoft Excel, the formatted cells will not be displayed or function correctly. You may also lose the coding and formulas to put the spreadsheet together.
All of the directions for how to use this tracker are in the spreadsheet on the first tab. When you download this file, you will notice multiple tabs. The first one is a page full of directions. Read them carefully.
